项金国 1950年12月生于湖北。现为湖北美术学院教授、雕塑系原主任。

 

 

任湖北城市雕塑工作委员会委员、湖北省美术家协会理事、雕塑艺术委员会副主任、全国城市雕塑建设指导委员会艺术委员会委员、中国美术家协会会员、中国雕塑学会理事、中国工艺美术学会雕塑专业委员会副主任委员、武汉楚文化学会理事。

1997年 《百年沧桑》入选《中国艺术大展.历史画和主题性创作展》，获优秀奖，（北京，香港），作品被中国艺术大展组委会收藏并赠送香港特别行政区政府博物馆会展永久收藏。

In 1997 the "100 years of vicissitudes" selected "China Art Exhibition. Historical painting and theme creation exhibition", won the excellent prize, (Beijing,Hongkong), works by the Chinese Art Exhibition Organizing Committee of thegovernment of the Hongkong Special Administrative Region and a permanent collection Museum exhibition.
